FLASH ELECTRONICS APPOINTS CURTIS CAMPBELL VICE PRESIDENT OF WORLDWIDE SALES

Fremont, CA - March 27, 2001 鈥?Flash Electronics, Inc., a leading Silicon Valley contract electronics manufacturing (CEM) company, today announced the appointment of Curtis Campbell to the post of Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

Commenting on Mr. Campbell's new assignment, President Chin Fan, said: "Curtis brings to Flash a proven track-record of sales leadership and accomplishment in our industry. Furthermore, he knows the OEM markets, electronic distribution and supply-chain management like the back of his hand. These skills are precisely what Flash will need in the next few years, as it continues to expand in the global EMS marketplace."

Curtis Campbell's career includes over 20 years in sales and sales management positions, within the Electronic Distribution and Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industries. Prior to joining Flash, Mr. Campbell served two years as VP of Sales at ISIS Surface Mounting, Inc., a major EMS company based in San Jose. His previous experience included 10 years at Avnet, Inc. and four years at Bell Industries.

During his tenure at Avnet, Mr. Campbell received numerous honors and awards for outstanding sales achievement. He was twice named to the "President's Club" and made Advanced Micro Device锟斤拷s "Million Dollar Club" for three consecutive years. In 1995 he was named "Account Manager of the Year". In 1996 Mr. Campbell was appointed District Manager for all of Avnet's EMS customers in Silicon Valley and the greater Bay area.

Curtis Campbell and his wife, Laurie, reside in the Almaden area of South San Jose. Their family includes two school-age daughters, three horses, three cats and a dog.
