Flash Electronics is First Vendor to Receive Gold Supplier Award from AFC

Fremont, Calif. (December 1, 2003) - Flash Electronics USA, a leading global contract manufacturing organization, was the first vendor to be awarded in November 2003 Advanced Fiber Communication’s (AFC) gold supplier status. Recently launching this new supplier certification program for qualified vendors, AFC, an industry-leading developer and manufacturer of next-generation edge access equipment and multi-service broadband solutions for the telecommunications industry, defines service level expectations and is recognizing success in total quality performance, best practices and value-add solutions, conferring status for aligned partners. Flash Electronics USA, a multiple quality award-winning company, consistently scored 100% throughout AFC’s review including categories such as supplier management, forecasting, and inventory management.
