(Sept. 10, 2004) – Flash Electronics, a leader in global electronic manufacturing services (EMS), announces three additions to their China management team to lead operations at the US and China facilities. Jasmine Koh Sok Khoong, new vice president of finance, George Feng, new vice president of business development and Chi Tzy (CT) Yang, new director of China manufacturing are based at the China site. The adeptness of Flash Electronics’ on and offshore production and the advantages of turnkey operations allow customers to gain earliest entry into their markets. “Flash Electronics is committed to delivering the management team, the quality and the services to fulfill the need for a comprehensive yet simple solution to electronic manufacturing in the growing Asian market.” says Chin Fan, president of Flash Electronics. “The skills the new team brings to Flash Electronics will drive us to be smart and competitive about business costs considering government regulations and economic conditions off and onshore.” Jasmine Koh Sok Khoong brings a wealth of finance experience having served most recently as chief financial officer of an Enterprise 50 company in Singapore. She played an instrumental role in the successful listing of the company on the Singapore Stock Exchange. Jasmine Koh Sok Khoong has also raised venture capital funds, rationalized the capital and debt structure for strategic investments and acquisitions and was credited with strengthening the corporate financial system of various business entities to structure responsibilities of stringent requirements for public companies. Jasmine Koh Sok Khoong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree in Accountancy and from the Nanyang Technological University with an MBA. George Chih Hua Feng brings extensive experience and expertise in engineering and corporate management from his time with Solectron Corporation in the U.S. and China where most recently he served as vice president of worldwide account management. He has also worked for the department of industrial engineering for the University of Houston in Houston, Texas and General Instrument in Taiwan. His relationships in China and his understanding of global account management will strengthen the full service support offer of Flash Electronics. George Feng holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Hsiu Chu, Taiwan. Chi Tzy (CT) Yang leaves a history of senior management positions at Solectron Corporation, to work with Flash Electronics in China managing regional and offshore manufacturing. His experience in manufacturing in the U.S., Taiwan and China is a great asset to the Flash Electronics’ team as they expand to capacity in China. Yang has held lead positions as vice president of operational excellence in the American Region, vice president of manufacturing, Asia; Program, Building and Hub Manager and in the roles of production supervisor, building and division manager for General Instrument of Taiwan.
