Flash Electronics holds 1st annual supplier appreciation day

Electronics Manufacturer Suppliers Honored at First Annual Supplier Day focused on "Embracing VMI"

Fremont, Calif. (August 28, 2006) Flash Electronics, a leading provider of electronics manufacturing and integrated supply chain services headquartered in Fremont, California, honored global supply chain partners at their first annual Supplier Day in Wijiang, China. Several hundred suppliers gathered to receive recognition as key partners to Flash Electronics’ successes and a full day of keynotes and educational sessions on the company’s Global Supply Chain Strategy. The focus of topical discussion was Flash Electronics’ Global Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) initiative, the improved Flash Electronics’ supplier program and vision of the company to deliver competitive supply chain solutions to its customers.

Matthew Liu, Flash Electronics’ Chairman and CEO, joined by mayor of Wijiang, China, Mr. Xu Ming, welcomed the guests and addressed the importance of managing succinct international supply chain logistics through programs such as VMI that would also ensure each supplier and customers’ success.

The advantages of the program allow for faster, leaner and more flexible efficiencies for the partnering OEM and manufacturing businesses.
