Flash Electronics Partners with DVD Play to Produce Custom Box-Build Kiosks
Fremont, Calif. (June 13, 2003) - Flash Electronics, a leading global contract manufacturing organization, won DVD Play’s custom chassis box build and product integration contract. DVD Play offers a stand-alone, point-of-sale DVD rental or purchase kiosk. Flash Electronics manages the custom ‘red box’ built-to-order configuration from parts, to assembly, to shipment. With core competencies in product development through volume production, the company is uniquely qualified to produce OEM product families. For DVD Play, Flash handles materials for PCB assembly for the kiosk, integrates the boards into the chassis and tests functionality before packaging and shipping to DVD Play customers.
